Interface with key business and functional partners (including Global Direct Category Managers and Business team) to ensure alignment of strategies with business needs
Develop and maintain deep market insights to provide insights to Global Category managers and Commercial Teams around supply, demand, and pricing trends in material markets to support decision making.
Work with Global category manager to develop and implement category strategy and of strategies through the sourcing process for specific spend areas to capture real savings.
Work with Direct sourcing team to support Business Growth / Innovation project related to Asia Pacific

Negotiate and execute supply contracts in line with the product and category strategies
Drive annual productivity improvements, measure and track internal performance within in each assigned product.
Develops and maintains good working relationships, including partnerships, with key raw material suppliers to the manufacturing sites.
Forecast raw material pricing as needed
Drives best practices.
Upholds internal and external policies, regulations and laws.
Ensures compliance with Eastman’s corporate and Global Sourcing processes.
