Your new role
- Be responsible for compliance to EHS rules in your area of activity. Initiate and drive safety review of your experiments and ensure compliance in your activities according to defined measures.

What you'll need to succeed
- Education: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (Reaction Engineering preferred) - Working Experience: related working experience is a plus. - Technical & Professional Knowledge: Education background is with chemical and process engineering, or other related engineering discipline. Comprehensive and deep understanding of reaction engineering. Experience with modelling and simulation on reactors or chemical kinetics are plus. Programming proficiency with commercial software, like Matlab, gProms, python, or other equivalents are plus. Knowledge and experience in process scale up and development, or production processes, or complex technical reactor operation are plus. Language skills: English proficient.

Initiate and drive safety review of your experiments and ensure compliance in your activities according to defined measures. - Act as reaction engineering expert to support our plants and business units in Asia Pacific for optimization, debottlenecking and trouble-shooting of BASF processes, and with technical approaches including but not limiting to root cause analysis, modeling, lab experiment, production implement, etc. - Define, initiate and manage research projects to further improve our know-how in reaction engineering.
