Your new role
l The project manager is accountable to achieve the defined project results.
l Accountable for execution of assigned R&D projects according to the project plan and within agreed boundaries (including specification, quality, timing, costs, information/reporting and organization).
l Manage the project and the project team, from PCA (project concept available) to project close.
l Accountable to define the project plan and timeline in consultation and agreement with all relevant management levels and stakeholder, including external groups.
l Accountable to prepare and execute regular project reporting and stakeholder management (including pre-gate alignments and/or escalations).
l Accountable to define competencies and resource needed. Takes team leadership, build up a performing project team incl. operational guidance and conflict management. Challenge team members to meet committed project deliverables. Identify gaps in skills and performance of the team during the project.
l Documents the agreed project plan, deliverables and risks in CCOPP and FMEA.
l Accountable for gate and milestone documentation according to the checklist.
l Initiates and chairs core team meetings, including gate review meetings and milestone meetings with the core team.
l Tracks and manages project progress, securing timely execution of tasks, appropriate actions and deliverables according planning.
l Performs project risks assessment and ensures that risks are identified and managed (FMEA). Creates a risk management and mitigation plan. Anticipates on potential bottlenecks and risks.
l Manages problems and changes during project (Problem Record/Change Request) and execute change management process.
l Accountable that relevant quality standards for own projects are defined and met, accountable for the quality and completeness of the project deliverables according to plan.
l Provide input about performance of team members towards the resource managers.
l Initiate and contribute to quality improvement activities related to business processes and procedures.
l Refine project budget as needed to ensure timeliness and fiscal responsibility.
l Coach and mentor team members including other project managers and project support officers.

What you'll need to succeed
Hard Skills:
l Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering
l Preferred PMP
l Good English communication skills
l Knowledge in state-of-the-art project management tools and their application
l Knowledge of semiconductor processes and packages
l Min 6 years’ experience in semiconductor NPI or assembly area. Engineering
l experience in both FE and BE preferred. And at least 3 years at a managerial role.
l Sound knowledge in DOE, APQP, PPAP, FMEA and Statistical Process Control.

l Very good communication and negotiation skills incl. stakeholder management up to EMT level.
