Your new role

• Define and continuously improve manufacturing processes
• Assist for daily operation abnormal issue resolution and apply Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) to resolve process, safety, quality (internal/external customer complaints) and cost problems. – 10%
• Responsible for the success of alignment batches and play as the key stakeholder in Valvoline NSD (New Solution Development) process to provide essential inputs/outputs including manufacturing feasibility study, process design and validation according to APQP requirements (e.g. process flow chart, PFMEA, control plan, etc.)
• Lead plant MoC related to manufacturing processes
• Responsible for data collections analysis for operation metrics
• Support engineering team for generating, defining and implementing plant Capex projects
• Support on process, SEQ, P&ID check and verification, and leverage related training to operation team.
• Support on plant startup & commissioning (field installation verification, loop check, stimulation, etc.)
• Other assignments from managers.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor and major in chemical engineering or chemistry field
• Above 8 years in process technology or technical position in chemical industry, lube or coating preferred.
• At least 5 years working experiences in multinational company.
• Working experiences in automotive industry will be added advantages.
• Good problem-solving skills
• Familiar with DCS system
• Familiar with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Good computer skills including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
